Call for Volunteers!

The new building addition is expected to start approximately in the weeks of August 16th or 22nd. We are very excited about this new addition and we will need lots of volunteer help. No particular construction skills are required.

If you can push a broom, paint a wall, nail a board or just clean up WE NEED YOU! 

Please let us know you can help. We can save a substantial amount of money by using volunteer help and Hawkey is experienced at building churches with volunteer help.

To volunteer please speak to Mike Morris or Peter Gopaul or by filling out the volunteer form. 

Please note: In order to participate in the construction, ALL  volunteers must attend  the Volunteer Safety Meeting on Tuesday August 17th 7:30pm at Grace.

The Building Committe is pleased to announce they have awarded the contract to build the new addition to Hawkey Church Management (www.churchbuilder.ca)  Construction will start as soon as all permits are received from the city hopefully in July.

Building Committee Update
 
On January 7, 2010 representatives from Grace met with Dickinson and Hicks - Architects, and Engineers to discuss and determine a tentative schedule for the new building (Phase 1) construction approved by the congregation.   Below is the current tentative schedule, and directly below it is a link to a drawing of the proposed Phase 1 extension to the existing building.
