Welcome to our new pastor, Reverend Joseph Gray!!
On Sunday March 28th at 7:30, the Presbytery of Pickering inducted Rev. Gray into the pastoral charge for Grace Church, West Hill, Ontario.
We look forward to many weeks, months and years under the leadership of Joe, to the Glory of God and in service to our church body and greater community.
Rev. Gray grew up in New Jersey and became a Christian in his early teens. He studied at Boston University and at Princeton Theological Seminary and was ordained as a minister by the Presbytery of New Brunswick, The Presbyterian Church USA. He came to Canada in 1995 and served in pastorates in Kitchener and Milton. Rev. Gray has served with Chosen People Ministries since the year 2000 and as Canadian National Director for the ministry since 2005.

They have two young adult daughters, Jessica and Sarah. He enjoys gardening, travel and reading. He plays the guitar and sings and enjoys running, hiking, photography and the outdoors. You will be interested in some of the things he wrote in his profile.
"As a pastor, I believe I bring a global perspective to the local church and hope to find a church which wants to grow together in a passionate commitment to becoming both a globally aware and locally involved church… I have a great passion to preach, teach and apply God’s Word in a way that is meaningful to people’s contemporary concerns. God’s Word is powerful and alive. Rightly applied it can bring about supernatural transformation and healing… I believe in the good news of Jesus Christ and I have committed my life to sharing His love with others in both word and deed… I believe that salvation is found only in the life changing grace of Jesus Christ.
The gift and privilege of pasturing God’s flock has always been my passion and calling… It is a great privilege to be invited to share in the joys, sorrows, challenges and victories of people’s lives as their pastor. I enjoy visiting shut-ins, those in hospital, and I am committed to bringing God’s comfort to His people during times of challenge and grief.
Beth and I were looking for a Christian community which is joyfully alive in Christ, committed to prayer, growing in obedience to God’s Word, broken hearted for the lost and hurting and fragranced with Christ’s love and grace"
