What to Expect

Whether you are looking for a permanent church home, a safe place to explore faith or are just passing through the neighbourhood, we would love to have you join us. The following are some commonly-asked questions, but if you have other questions please feel free to contact us.

What are the service times?

Each Sunday, we offer three services at 9:15am, 10:45am and 3:00pm. While each service is different, they all serve the same central purpose to gather together for worship, fellowship and relevant bible teaching.

Traditional Service (9:15am) – A service that incorporates traditionally sung hymns, led by our Grace Church choir. The typical service length is approximately 75 minutes.

Contemporary Service (10:45am) – A service that incorporates contemporary Christian praise and worship songs, led by one of our praise and worship bands. The typical service length is approximately 75 minutes.

Arabic Service (12:30am) – An arabic service led by LinC Minsitries. All are welcome.

Urdu Service (3:00pm) – Grace’s Urdu congregation. Worship and praise in the Urdu language. All are welcome.

Where do I go on Sunday morning?

When you arrive at the church, you are welcome to park anywhere in the parking lot and use the entrances at either the front or back of the building. You are invited to join us for a time of fellowship, coffee and snacks in the main foyer (narthex) between the 9:30 am and 10:45am services.

All services are held in our main sanctuary. If you need assistance, our greeters and/or church members would be more than happy to answer your questions, direct you to your seat and help you feel at home.

How should I dress for Sunday services?

While many members of our congregation attend church dressed in traditional attire, many also dress more causally. On Sunday mornings you will see a range of people wearing anything from a suit to jeans.  We look forward to having you join us and invite you to attend in the way that you feel most comfortable.

Do you have children and youth programs on Sundays?

We believe that Sunday mornings provide an opportunity for children to experience worship alongside their families and also to learn about God in an age-appropriate environment. We offer the children’s programs below, but children are always welcome to remain with their parents in the service.

Nursery care is lovingly provided during both the 9:15am and 10:45am services for infants and toddlers up to age 3.  Children can either be brought to the nursery before the start of the service, or they are welcome to join the service and can be brought to the nursery at any time.

Sunday school is offered during the contemporary service at 10:45am for children up to Grade 8.  Children will first join the worship service in the sanctuary and will later be dismissed to their age-appropriate classes for a time of bible learning, crafts and fun with other children of similar ages.

What programs do you offer outside of Sunday services?

Outside of our Sunday services we offer a variety of ministries and programs to encourage and promote the spiritual growth of our children, teens and adults. These programs include life groups (small group bible studies), drop-in programs and other opportunities for prayer, fellowship and/or worship.
