Grace choir is a fun-loving group of individuals who delight to sing, to lift up our voices in praise to God. At our rehearsals Don takes us through the process of learning Sunday anthems. Along the way, we also learn more about music and vocal technique, so our individual voices improve, and our ability to sing together improves. And when we’re done, we find that we have also had a time of worship.

Our primary goal as a choir is to lead the worship at the traditional service. Our anthems range from classical to contemporary pieces. Our hope is that our music and song will complement other aspects of the service, particularly the message, and move others to see and experience our Lord, Jesus.
Occasionally the choir participates at vocal events at other churches. We also enjoy social gatherings and events at which spouses and friends are included. We love to joke and have fun, and we also work hard to learn our songs.

There is a wondrous beauty to be experienced when singing in harmony with others, uniting your voice with others to sing one song. God gave us all the ability to make a joyful noise with our voices. When we use this ability to praise God, we are uplifted and energized. It feels good!

The choir meets Thursdays from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., and meets Sunday morning half an hour before the service to remove the cobwebs from our voices and refresh our memories. A hearty welcome is extended to all newcomers. Please call the church office at (416) 284-8424, or simply show up at a Thursday rehearsal. We would love to have you sing with us!
